When families change through divorce, a whole set of new problems arise for the parents and their children. Our program stresses that parents need to always put the interests of their children first.
We help the parents focus on developing a parenting plan where both parents can successfully parent apart. This new parenting plan focuses on creating a parenting partnership that focuses on supporting and nurturing
their children. Our program covers the stages of grief children experience.
Topics we address are: factors that affect children's adjustment to divorce, putting children in the middle, things that divorced parent say, let children be children, are you alienating your children from the other parent, and strengthening communication skills. "Parents Forever" is a court approved four hour class for parent in divorce transition.
